Dr. Sarah Wakeman is the Senior Medical Director for Substance Use Disorder at Mass General Brigham, Director of the Mass General Brigham Program for Substance Use & Addiction Services, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her A.B. from Brown University where she majored in psychology and her M.D. from Brown Medical School. She completed residency and served as a chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, a diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine, and a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
